Miami Horror

After looking around for a bit, I came across this group who seems to have the same sorts of sounds as compared to Chromeo or anything of the older 80's era (like, dude this sounds rad!). With the techno synths, lyrics about feeling good, having fun, dancing, generic sounds of the 80's, electric sounds... everything about it just sounds so retro! Check them out if groups such as Prince, Chromeo, The Rapture, or Head Automatica interest you at all.

What is disappointing you the most in this “scratch game”?

D: The lack of support in the US for anything that’s different. Everyone is still stuck in the one-man band routines. Most promoters don’t know the difference between what’s good and what’s wack. All the wack shit keeps getting booked.

Bremerton..BOOYAH!!

Another successful and fun event! Though distance was quite a bit away (an hour ferry ride and a trip downtown) it was well worth the wait! With a new action-packed arsenal of new beats I recently discovered, besides having as many airhorns as possible (to be as ignorant as possible) I have yet witnessed another happy crowd :)

NEWS: After speaking with some folks, there will be some talk of a new mixtape underway (this time, the mixtape will be for sale on CD's at your local F-Rock Vendor or Seattle Bboy jam near YOU!) that will blow you out of your pants! Watch out, it's gonna be hot!!

Besides being just a great hat shop in general, Goorin Bros. Hat Shop once again decided to throw yet another fun shingdig for all you hip hop lovers to come out to (local music? Oh SSSSSSNAPSSS!!!").

Goorin's Holiday Party

Kickin' it with DJ Pryme at the Goorin's hat store located on 45th Street on the Ave though I DO have a final tomorrow (for a class I haven't been to in like.. a month...?!?!)...

My father has flown back from Seoul... if you don't know, Sam Lee is one of the biggest influences in my life as far as music goes (wait a sec... shouldn't he be anyhow??). We will be working on a collaboration mixtape in which I will be releasing a lot of fusion, jazz, funk and breaks laid over with riffs and plenty of fresh guitar solos... Don't sleep!

Argh! I shouldn't be this faded though before a final!... Not good!!!!!

How is everyone??

It's getting colder, so being stuck inside a 30F* room, I decided on making an unedited mixtape that will only improve my "on-the-spot" experience (so if I ever play live, I might sound a LITTLE better than the next DJ... Don-cha Think?). There were also a bunch of mistakes I noticed while/after recording, but hey, this is the first volume in it's series, so isn't it supposed to suck? DJ's aren't perfect, we all make mistakes, so this mixtape is what it's supposed to be: a real mixtape, not a perfect one.

THIS MIXTAPE IS OFFICIALLY 25.564% MISTAKE FREE!!! OH BOY OH BOY!!!
